A different kind of interface
The core idea behind Tanium Atlas is simple: You describe an outcome, and Atlas does the rest, with your governance.
This is not a chatbot, and it’s not another tool. Atlas is an autonomous operating system built directly into the Tanium platform, where plain-language prompts generate a interface, guide the workflow, and execute, all inside your existing governance controls and approval flows. When an action could change state or affect endpoints, Atlas pauses and asks for confirmation. Speed and safety aren't in tension here. They're the same thing.
Most importantly: Atlas doesn't replace what Tanium does. It removes the friction between you and what Tanium can do. Every solution area, every capability—reachable from a single starting point, without knowing in advance how to get there. The result: a single operator with the data, guidance, and reach to accomplish tasks that once required far broader coordination across a team.
Personalized to the individual, not the role
Most enterprise software is built around personas. You get a set of screens designed for your function, and you navigate from there. Tanium Atlas works differently.
The interface you see is generated in real time based on who's asking and what their environment actually looks like. We're not pre-configuring screens. That's the power of AI—we can adapt every component to whatever the moment requires. No two sessions look the same, because no two situations are identical.

Historically, cybersecurity means analyzing a finite set of signals to decide whether an endpoint is healthy. The key problem is, are you monitoring the right signals? Tanium Atlas surfaces a broad, real-time range of signals from endpoints and identifies what matters, rather than expecting analysts to find the needle in a haystack they can barely see. That's not an incremental improvement. It's a different approach to the problem entirely.
What private preview looks like
We're rolling out Tanium Atlas now to a select group of cloud customers across the US and EMEA who have AI services enabled. We've also recently enabled AI for FedRAMP customers—something I'm genuinely proud of. On-prem support is in exploration; today's preview is cloud-first.
