Ben Stein

As chief strategy officer, Ben Stein leads Tanium's AI-first strategy across systems, processes, and go-to-market, drawing on nearly a decade of experience in global roles spanning operations, sales, marketing, and business development.

Prior to joining Tanium, Ben led business transformations at Cloud Software Group, TIBCO, and BMC, scaling and future-proofing go-to-market strategies, processes, and data practices to drive record-setting growth and profitability.

Before his business career, Ben spent 12 years as a U.S. Navy F/A-18 pilot and instructor, flying 23 carrier-based combat missions and earning numerous decorations including the Strike Flight Air Medal.

Ben is a distinguished graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He also holds an MS from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
