Rich Baich

Rich Baich is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at AT&T. With decades of experience, he brings a wealth of technical leadership and deep cybersecurity expertise.

Prior to AT&T, Rich served as CISO for the Central Intelligence Agency, AIG and Wells Fargo. Earlier in his career, he served as an Information Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy supporting the NSA, and as Special Assistant to the Deputy Director of the National Infrastructure Protection Center at the FBI.

Rich holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Financial Management from the University of Maryland University College, a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and is a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College and the Naval War College. During his military service, he qualified in surface warfare and a range of technical disciplines including space, cryptology and information warfare, while maintaining numerous security industry certifications.

Rich is also the author of "Winning as a CISO," a leadership sourcebook for security executives.
