CEO Dan Streetman outlined during Tuesday's keynote Tanium's mission to deliver intelligent, adaptive automation that unifies security and operations across every endpoint, so IT and security leaders can innovate faster, eliminate blind spots, and outpace disruption. Autonomous IT goes beyond helping organizations prevent outages or breaches by enabling them to become truly unstoppable.
This vision came to life through a technology deep dive with CTO Matt Quinn, highligting how Tanium is expanding endpoint visibility across OT, IoT, and mobile while delivering AI-driven workflows that sense, reason, and act in real time with governance built in, not bolted on.
Following Matt, SVP of Technology Strategy and AI Harman Kaur reflected on the evolution since last year’s launch of Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and introduced the next milestone: Tanium AI.
Harman emphasized that AI is a foundational capability embedded across the platform to anticipate risks, enrich workflows, and mobilize action, all while maintaining governance at the core. She discussed innovations like anomaly detection, guided remediation, natural language workflows, and agent-to-agent orchestration, underscoring how Tanium AI accelerates the journey toward fully Autonomous IT.
The takeaway? Autonomous IT isn’t just a concept—it’s a reality that helps organizations outpace disruption and remain unstoppable.
2. Customer success stories that inspire
Converge 2025 showcased how organizations are using Tanium to stay resilient and move faster in an era of complexity and AI-driven threats. Across both days of keynotes, customers shared powerful examples of turning challenges into opportunities.
From global brands to public sector leaders, one theme stood out: visibility, automation, and confidence at scale are game changers. Attendees heard how companies like AutoNation and SAP strengthened security and simplified operations after major disruptions, while Best Buy and McDonald’s demonstrated what real-time intelligence looks like across massive environments.
Partnerships also took center stage. Microsoft leaders spoke about how Tanium and Microsoft are working together to deliver autonomous workflows and real-time insights, reinforced by a fireside chat with Microsoft Corporate VP for Security Platform and AI Shawn Bice on the future of AI-driven cybersecurity.
Wednesday’s keynote continued this momentum with stories from the Gates Foundation, Vanguard, and JLL, each showing how Tanium helps organizations break silos, accelerate automation, and elevate security maturity.

Converge week for Tanium partners kicked off with Tanium's Global Partner Summit, hosted by Tanium SVP of Global Partner Sales Tony Beller. Tony encouraged partners to seize the transformational market opportunity with Tanium Autonomous IT and focus on strategic investments to enable long-term success: “The time is NOW!”
CEO Dan Streetman and CMO Tara Ryan also shared their vision for Tanium’s Partner Ecosystem and outlined plans to amplify Tanium’s global presence.
Other keynote speakers at the Global Partner Summit included Tanium leaders and product experts who shared valuable insights into our strategy and future direction:
- VP of Product Marketing Andy Leong explored our latest product positioning and upcoming sales plays for partners.
- CRO Pedro Diaz led a panel with World Wide Technology (WWT) and the State of North Carolina, a Tanium customer, to discuss their journey to real-time security, scalability, and innovation.
- Jay McBain, chief analyst at Omdia, provided insights and market trends on global IT partner ecosystem growth in cyber security and AI.

- Evolving from Incident Response to full Security Operations: Tanium Head of Threat Hunting Stephanie Aceves presented a portfolio focused on proactive threat hunting, advanced detection, and autonomous agents to help security teams move from reactive defense to AI-driven resilience.
